Reciprocal Rights

In this screen you can view, add, or delete the reciprocal rights for a meeting/event.

The attendance rules at the Sponsor, or highest organizational level may allow an attendee to get credit for attending other breakouts that count towards maintaining committee voting. For example, a voting member of committee xyz may get credit toward maintaining their voting rights when they attend a breakout for Committee abc.

The IMAT Event Administrator sets the WGs for which maintaining credit is given. In general, each WG chair shall be able to identify one or more other WGs that qualify as reciprocal rights WGs.

Credit for attendance at reciprocal rights breakouts counts towards the attendance calculations for the home WG for attendees who are Voting Members only. Therefore, reciprocal credits only count toward maintaining voting rights, not acquiring it to begin with.

IMPORTANT: Since the Voting/Involvement levels you see in this Attendance Tool come from that field in myProject, it is very important that you upload your Involvement Levels into myProject and make sure they are up to date prior to the meeting start date. You can upload or modify the involvement levels by logging into myProject.

  • Go to Manage Committees

  • Choose "Manage" under the actions column

  • Choose "Manage Roster" - here you can change the individual involvement levels

  • Or Choose "Manage Voter Roster" to upload in bulk.
